Description

Les joueurs jouent le rôle d’un arboriculteur désireux de planter un verger respectant les principes de l’agroécologie, pour réduire l’usage d’intrants. Les thématiques centrales retenues par les concepteurs du jeu sont la diversification des productions et les régulations naturelles. Ce jeu est l’occasion, en fonction du niveau des joueurs (néophyte, intermédiaire, avancé), de découvrir, de comprendre ou bien d’optimiser des systèmes arboricoles agroécologiques à l’échelle de la parcelle et de son environnement proche. Pour créer son propre verger agroécologique, les joueurs disposent de 7 grandes familles de leviers d'action : - Diversifier les espèces fruitières - Implanter des espèces non fruitières hautes - Implanter des espèces non fruitières buissonnantes - Faire pâturer des animaux - Diversifier un enherbement - Associer des cultures intercalaires productives - Installer des nichoirs et gîtes pour auxiliaires Chaque grande famille de leviers d'action se décline en 3 actions possibles se distinguant par la richesse d'espèces, la localisation dans la parcelle... Chaque joueur ou équipe de joueurs doivent alors ne retenir que 5 familles parmi les 7, et sélectionner 1 action possible par famille retenue pour construire leur verger. En fonction de leurs objectifs pour ce verger, les joueurs peuvent réaliser cette sélection en s'appuyant sur les 6 caractéristiques définies par action possible (la charge de travail, la production (en diversité et en quantité), la restauration de la biodiversité, l’économie d’intrants, le coût de mise en œuvre et les régulations naturelles potentielles). Après cette phase de construction de la stratégie de conception, les joueurs choisissent les figurines qui incarnent les leviers et les positionnent sur le plateau pour la phase de design de la parcelle. Au final, l'animateur réalise une évaluation de chaque verger conçu selon ses propres critères, ou bien en utilisant les 6 caractéristiques (définies précédemment) comme critères d'évaluation, à l'aide d'un tableur Excel fourni avec le jeu.
